A Detailed Look at Fractal Softwork's Star Sector
What is it?
Fractal Softwork's Starsector, formerly known as Starfarer, is a top-down, single-player indie role-playing game that puts the player in direct control of their own ship in space combat.
Currently in active development, Starsector has numerous features planned to be added. It places players in a procedurally generated galaxy, allowing them to explore, trade, fight, and build their own space empire.
Gameplay
Players can interact with different factions in Starsector. By default, all are нейтрален to the player, except pirates. Ships fall into one of three broad categories: Low Tech, Midline, and High Tech. They are not inherently better or worse than another level but use different designs.
